Lucky for me, I ended up telling my mom my plans and she told me she would make the meals while she was in town! At 6 months pregnant, I probably would have told her, "That's so sweet but I can do it Mom." Now though... I was ready and willing to take her up on the offer!
This recipe is easy, makes a lot, freezes well and tastes great!
My mom does use 2 lbs of ground beef and I've added pepperoni before to help bulk up the meat side of things. Everything in the recipe is pre-cooked too, so if you're in a time crunch, you can always microwave this meal to melt the cheese. {which is what we did for our meal. as you can see from the picture, my cheese could have used a few more seconds!} Serve with garlic bread and salad!
