Jealous Version 2.0

Remember when I told you about how jealous I was of my mom because she got to meet our BFF Ree?

Well, it turns out that my momma loves me a whole, whole lot! I called her while they were on the way to the book signing to see if she could get PW to sign a piece of paper that I could put into my cookbook, but she already had a better plan. She actually had Ree sign both her copy of Black Heels to Tractor Wheels and the cookbook, knowing that she would keep the cookbook and trade my copy of Black Heels for hers.

So I am now the proud owner of this sweet message:

Now that the secret's out and I know she got a book for me, my mom was able to share more of her interactions with Ree. As my mom was explaining why she wanted the certain message she did in my note, it came up that we saw Wicked before I had heart surgery. Ree was then asking all about what type of surgery I had, where I had it done and how the recovery was. Apparently one of her relatives had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic too so she was very familiar with the process! Knowing that she took the time to actually ask questions and listen to the answer made my mom like her even more! {And of course, solidified our BFF status!}

I am one happy, happy girl! Thanks so much Mom!
