we celebrated june birthday's today up at our office and instead of the traditional cake, we did all different sorts of chips and dips. salsa was already taken, so i had to come up with something new.
pinterest to the rescue!
this recipe was super easy and delicious. it truly tastes like chocolate chip cookie dough. {it's not really considered a dip, but i feel better about eating it by calling it one.}
i don't even have to give you many tips on how to make this. the only one i have it to make sure your butter is soft enough. i made this over my lunch break and microwaved mine on a low power setting and it probably needed a tad longer.
but, it doesn't look like that bothered anyone.
Enjoy!
{edited to add: i ate it straight out of a spoon, but others dipped pretzels in it. both are delish!}
{i'm linking up with boomama's diptastic today! check out her blog for some great recipes!}
Call me a moron -- what do you use to dip into chocolate chip cookie dough dip? Besides the obvious -- a spoon? That looks really good!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea for a party. I LOVE dips. Love, love, love. I had a dip similar to this at a party once and always wondered what was in it. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteomg that sounds SO GOOD!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds amazing. I love eating cookie dough but always get a little freaked out about the raw eggs, so this is perfect! Thanks for sharing!!

ReplyDeleteI wonder if this would be good on apple slices?
ReplyDeleteI tried a different recpie and it did not work thank you for this!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I used this recipe to make just cookie dough, not a dip, so it didn't need the water at all. and probably didn't need a whole T. of vanilla... a 1/2 would have been plenty
ReplyDeleteMy son loves cookie dough so I made this for him.
Thanks for the recipe
