s{No}w more, please!

It was a joyous occasion on Monday night when we found out Tuesday would be a snow day.

It was almost too good to be true when we found out Tuesday night that we were getting another snow day!

On Wednesday, we had a friend tweet that his goal was to not have to work during February. At that point, he was two for two. We're now four for four on the whole "not working during February"!

It's been fun to have several days off, though we are suffering from cabin fever and we keep repeating "I wish we would have known! We could have gotten a project done or headed up to Ruidoso!" Such is life... as soon as you count on a snow day off, you're guaranteed to not get it!

I thought you might enjoy a few pictures of Snowpacalypse/Snowmageddon/Artic Blast '11. Kota was about to go crazy on us yesterday so we bundled up and let him run some energy off outside. You would think his little body couldn't handle the cold, but he seemed to love it!

Kota was obsessed with attacking Cody's feet. I'm not sure why he was doing it, but it was really funny!

Here he is on his way to get the feet... can you see the air between his short legs and the snow? :)

Please Mom? Don't make me go back in yet.

The snow days have been nice, but we are definitely ready for warmer weather and for the ice to melt away. Remind us of these temps when we're complaining about how hot it is this summer!

  2. Awesome action shot! Knox loves to dig his nose down into the snow and then throw it up in the air. He snorts like a pig while doing it :)

  3. That is a LOT of snow!! Im in Baton Rouge and it was no event at all and we didn't even get much ice and no snow. Very disappointing. It was just bitterly cold and damp.
