Testing, Testing, 1 2 3...

Cody and I made it to San Antonio yesterday without any problems, which is surprising considering the snowstorm that hit out of no where on Thursday. I overheard several coworkers saying snow was a possibility, but when I woke up to rain that morning I assumed the weathermen were wrong. Within 45 minutes of waking up, our yard went from being wet with rain to this:



Snow! And by the time they sent us home from work 2 hours later, it turned into this:


At least 3 inches covered the ground. We very much so enjoyed our day off. We rented 2 Redbox movies and ended up watching all 3 Indiana Jones movies. The nice thing was that I wasn't interested in the movies Cody choose, so I was able to get a lot of homework done. This was an unexpected blessing but I am so thankful for the productive day! The best thing is that Cody and I both got paid to be at home together!
